Fire Department

The Madison Fire Department was called to a multi-vehicle crash on  the eastbound Beltline near John Nolen Drive.

Upon arrival, Ladder 6 and Medic 6 found multiple law enforcement units on scene, where a black pick-up truck was reportedly side-swiped by a straight truck traveling along the highway. The pick-up truck was facing sideways along two lanes of the Beltline with a straight truck resting against the passenger door. Next to the straight truck was a small car sandwiched between the truck and the side guardrail.

All occupants of the straight truck and car were out of their vehicles when paramedics and firefighters arrived. Those inside the pickup truck were able to crawl out of the driver’s side door.

Two people reported minor injuries but did not wish to be transported to the ER.
