Fire Department

Engine 3 was dispatched to Tenney Park for a garbage can fire. Upon arrival, E3 was met by the reporting party who said she and her friend were walking through the park when they noticed a trash can on fire next to the walking path. She then called 911, and waited for E3's arrival. She states that she did not see anyone in the vicinity. There were paper materials (newspaper, cardboard packaging materials) in the garbage can burning. Fire was extinguished with a water can, and the garbage can was overhauled to ensure extinguishment. Fire was contained to the garbage can. There were no signs of ignition sources or incendiary sources in the vicinity.
