Three people were transported to local hospitals with injuries following a crash on Milwaukee Street at Fair Oaks Avenue.

Three ambulances, an engine company, and a ladder company responded to the intersection, where a car was T-boned at high impact, pinning two people inside the vehicle. The driver’s side of the vehicle suffered significant damage and intrusion into the cab. The driver reported injuries but was able to make his way to the back seat, where paramedics and EMTs safely removed him from the vehicle and took him to an ambulance.

Ladder Co. 8 extricated the second passenger, who was still pinned in the back seat of the vehicle. The passenger also suffered injuries related to the crash and was taken to the hospital.

A third patient also complained of injuries after her vehicle was struck by one of the vehicles involved in the crash.

All reported injuries appear to be non-life threatening. Madison Police remained on scene to investigate the crash.
