A two-vehicle rollover accident on University Avenue at University Bay Drive sent one person to the hospital Monday afternoon.

Medic 4, leaving the nearby UW Hospital, was dispatched to the nearby intersection along with Engine Company 9 and Command Car 31. That’s where they found a minivan was tipped onto its driver’s side and a sedan resting on all four wheels.

The driver of the sedan was transported to UW Hospital with injuries resulting from the impact of the collision. All other parties involved refused EMS.
