On Friday, February 11th, around 1:00 am, City of Madison Firefighters were called to Rustic Parkway for a structure fire. First in crews saw flames coming from the rear of the mobile home.

The occupant, who evacuated the home safely, told firefighters no one else was in the building.

Firefighters pulled a hose line to the rear of the structure to extinguish the flames. Crews pulled an additional hose inside the home to extinguish hot spots and to perform overhaul.

There were no injuries to the resident. The person living in the home was displaced by the blaze and is staying with friends or family.

Estimated $50,000-$70,000 dollar loss.

The fire is under investigation.
