Fire Department

One person was taken to the hospital with injuries following a crash on John Nolen Drive. The crash involved an SUV and a motorcycle. Upon arrival, paramedics were directed to the motorcycle driver, who was being tended to by bystanders and Madison Police in the median of John Nolen Drive.

About 100 feet away, the motorcycle was fully engulfed in flames. Engine Co. 3 deployed its bumper line, and the fire was fully extinguished, as Medic 3 took over emergency medical care of the driver. He is expected to recover from his injuries.

The driver of the involved SUV denied injury and did not require EMS.
