Two people were transported from the site of a crash at Wheeler Road and School Road.

The crash, which occurred at a high rate of speed, involved one vehicle and an electrical pole. One person was out of the vehicle when Engine Company 10 and Medic 10 arrived on scene. That individual was taken to the hospital by Medic 8 with injuries. Engine 10 and Medic 10 removed another occupant from the severely damaged vehicle. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Engine Company 10 remained on scene and used a thermal imaging camera to search for signs of anybody in the nearby woods. No other people were believed to be involved in this crash.

The impact of the crash caused a significant power outage in the area, and MGE responded to restore services.
