Narrative: 

Residents were at home enjoying the end of the Packers game when they heard some noise coming from the garage. An occupant got up to investigate and discovered a working fire in their garage with large amounts of flame and smoke. Everyone evacuated and they called 911. Crews were dispatched at 8:41 pm. Engine 10 were the first on scene arriving at 8:45 pm. Engine 10 encountered heavy black smoke and flames coming from the garage and roof. Engine 10 attacked the fire from the front while Engine 3 brought a back-up line to the back door. The fire was extinguished by 9:02 pm and overhaul and ventilation operations began.
The garage and two vehicles parked inside sustained major damage. The damage extended into the kitchen and roof. The rest of the house sustained smoke damage. All the residents got out safely, including the family cat but are temporarily displaced.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
