Total damages from this fire rest at $400,000. Potential causes of the fire include discarded smoking materials, RV engine compartment failure, and/or compromised electrical cords; however, the exact cause could not be definitively identified.

Narrative: 

City of Madison firefighters responded to a RV fire on Madison’s south side this morning at 5:14.
A neighbor called in the fire, reporting smoke coming from a parked RV on the 1100 block of Moorland Road.
The fire was brought under control within 15 minutes of arrival of Ladder 6.
The RV was completed engulfed and is a total loss.
There is no damage estimate at this time, and the cause of the fire is unknown.
The American Red Cross is assisting three displaced residents with temporary housing and personal needs.
