Fire Department

Engine 3 responded to a car fire on the 2500 block of East Johnson at 2:43 am.  Upon arrival the call was upgraded to a full structure fire response due to additional car that was located next to a garage was also on fire.  Engine 1, Engine 8, Ladder 8, Medic 8, and Medic 9 were all dispatched to the scene. Both vehicles were fully involved. Madison firefighters used a "fast attack" to keep the vehicle fire from spreading to the residential structure and garage area.
