Ladder 6 was called to investigate a carbon monoxide detector activation inside a Curry Parkway residence. Handheld monitors detected 42 parts per million of carbon monoxide.
 
The occupant said she was using her stove to keep the apartment warm just before the alarm activated.

Firefighters opened the apartment windows and turned on a fan to clear the air. The tenant was told not to use her stove as a heating source for the apartment and to contact building maintenance if she needed the heat turned on.
