Five vehicles collided at the intersection of Seminole Highway and Nakoma Road, shutting down that intersection for some time on Tuesday afternoon.

The Madison Fire Department received initial reports that two people suffered minor injuries. One fire engine, one ladder crew, and multiple ambulances were sent to the intersection to assess injuries and mitigate hazards.

All but one ambulance were turned away when both patients reported they did not want to be transported to the hospital for their injuries. The engine and ladder crews remained on scene to clean up debris from the accident. When cleanup was through, they left the scene under the control of the Madison Police Department.
