Fire Department

A resident on the east side was cooking fish when the oils/residue caught fire in his oven. The fire remained confined to the oven, and the resident was able to put the fire out before firefighters arrived.
 
The fire crew used its smoke ejector to assist with ventilation, and they reset the pull station and alarm system. The resident was directed to clean his oven before using it again. There was no damage done to the appliance as a result of the fire.
