Fire Department

A travel trailer hooked to a pick-up truck was filled with fire and smoke as Engine 10 arrived on scene Sunday. Flames were coming out of a passenger-side door and a driver-side window. E10 crew began attacking the fire using Engine 10’s bumper line. They also stabilized the trailer, pulled the truck away, and disconnected two propane tanks before moving them to a safe distance.
 
According to the owner, a new electrical cord that feeds electricity to the trailer had been installed over the winter. It caught on fire while plugged in on Sunday.
