Arrival:
Wednesday, July 15, 2020 - 1:18am
Address:
Winter Frost Place
Madison, WI
Narrative:

The Madison Fire Department, along with the Madison Police Department, came to the aid of a dog stuck in a backyard fence. A neighbor called 911 after discovering the dog in obvious distress as it could not get itself out from between two vertical fence stiles.

MPD called upon Engine Co. 12 to assist in freeing the dog. Firefighters determined the safest and quickest solution would be to cut one of the stiles. The crew retrieved a bolt cutter and freed the dog from entrapment. The dog was able to walk and did not appear to be seriously injured.

The MPD officer leashed the dog, returned it to the residence, and notified the owner about what happened.
