Update:

The Madison Fire Department and the Madison Police Department are hoping to identify the man in this video clip. We would like to speak with him regarding two car fires that were reported early Thursday morning. The vehicles were parked at the intersection of W. Main St. and S. Bedford St.

Narrative:

Shortly after 5:00 AM, City of Madison Fire Crews responded to W. Main and S. Bedford Street for a report of two cars on fire.

Engine 1 was first to arrive and informed arriving fire crews that surrounding buildings were not threatened by the fire. Firefighters used foam to extinguish the fire.

No one was injured as a result of the fire.

The fire is under investigation.
