Firefighters were sent to a parking lot on Grand Canyon Drive early Thursday morning for a reported vehicle fire. Ladder Co. 2 arrived to find a yellow Ford Mustang fully involved with fire. The crew pulled a hose line and attacked the fire with water and foam, quickly achieving complete knockdown. Firefighters confirmed there were no victims inside the vehicle. A fire investigator and Madison Police were called to the scene, and the nature of the fire remains under investigation.
