Narrative: 

There were no reports of injuries after a fire early Tuesday morning, on May 14th around 4:10 am. Four adults and 2 young children were displaced from the 4-unit apartment complex on the 2900 block of Hoard Street.

When firefighters arrived they noticed black smoke coming from the back side of the building. Crews made entry and extinguished the fire within 8 minutes.

Occupants evacuated safely, after hearing the smoke alarms sounding throughout the building. American Red Cross is working with the families who are displaced.

There has been no determination yet on the cause or origin of the fire. Fire investigators are still on scene.
