Arrival:
Tuesday, December 13, 2016 - 6:09am
Address:
Milwaukee Street / S. Marquette Street
Madison, WI 53703
Narrative:

A motorist was driving westbound on Milwaukee Street Tuesday morning when he reportedly hit some ice, over-corrected, and clipped the corner of a parked car. The 20-mile-per-hour collision caused his vehicle to flip over and rest on its hood. The driver was wearing his safety belt, and there were no other passengers inside the sedan.

The driver was able to open his door and crawl out of the vehicle on his own. He was up and speaking with police officers when paramedics on Medic 3 arrived. The 47-year-old man was evaluated, and he told paramedics he didn’t need to be transported to the ER. He was advised to call 911 if his condition changed.

Although it was upside-down, the vehicle suffered minimal damage and its structural integrity was not compromised.
