Engine 10 and Medic 10 responded to the 1500 block of Wheeler Road where a U-haul truck collided with a tree. One person was pinned inside the vehicle, requiring extrication. Ladder Co. 8 was called to the scene to assist Engine 10 with accessing the driver. The driver’s side door was removed, and the dashboard lifted, allowing paramedics to safely remove the patient from the vehicle. The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
