Narrative:
One person was injured following a crash that took down a tree and a fire hydrant near Ho-Chunk Gaming.
Paramedics and firefighters were dispatched to the intersection of Savannah Road and Millpond Road around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday. Upon arrival, a van was found on its passenger side with one unsecured person inside the vehicle.
Ladder Company 6 removed the van’s windshield and extricated the occupant from the vehicle. Paramedics transported him to a local hospital.
Madison Water Utility was notified that the fire hydrant at this location is in need of repair or replacement.
