Fire Department

Engine 9 was dispatched for a report of smoke coming from an apartment window. On arrival E9 noted an odor of burned food in the hallway. E9 was directed to an apartment where the door was open and a light haze of smoke was visible. The stove was off and a burned pan was in the sink. E9 ventilated the apartment and hallway, reset the fire alarm and released the apartment back to the occupants.
