Narrative: 

A concerned citizen called the Madison Fire Department Sunday afternoon when she heard a smoke detector sounding from a neighbor’s house. She reported smelling smoke as well.
 
Ladder 2 arrived and checked the residence. Firefighters found a pan on the stove with a baby bottle inside of it. They filled the pan with water and placed it outside. Occupants were not at home as Ladder 2’s crew began clearing smoke from the residence.
 
Firefighters were able to contact the residents by telephone. They returned home and reported forgetting about the bottle warming on the stove.
