"Winter is Alive!" is a poetic documentary about Winter is Alive! A Cooler World Carnival, which was held in Madison WI in late Winter, 2021. Through the voices of the organizers and artists, the doc tells the story of the festival and explores climate change in Madison as the center of its creative focus.
"Winter is Alive!" is produced by the Madison Arts Commission and the Edna Wiechers Arts in Wisconsin Award.

Registration Details: The film screening is free of charge to all and does not require registration, however, the screening follows the Silver Lining Awards, which does require registration. If you would like to attend the Silver Lining Awards prior to the "Winter is Alive" film screening, please register by April 28.
