Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) is pedestrian-oriented, compact, mixed-use development that is centered on quality public transit. It typically includes a mix of housing, office, retail, neighborhood amenities, and other uses within walking distance of a transit station.  The City is exploring ways to encourage TOD along the future bus rapid transit (BRT) line and planned high-frequency local transit service through the use of a TOD overlay zoning district.  This “TOD overlay” would potentially create development intensity minimums, reduce parking requirements, and support transit use, among other possible tweaks to underlying zoning regulations.

Everyone who is interested in learning more about TOD overlay zoning is invited to a virtual public meeting.  The same content will be presented at each of the below meetings, and all meetings will be recorded for those who may want to learn more, but don't have availability during meeting times.  After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
