Warner Park: Winter Solstice Warm-Up Walk with Paul Noeldner
Join Wild Warner Education Chair Paul Noeldner for a cup of hot chocolate at the fire and welcome the first day of winter with a refreshing walk on beautiful trails through the Warner Park Woods and along the Warner Pond lagoon. We will look for birds that have learned how to stay and survive the winter.

Free, family-friendly Bird and Nature Walks are offered year-round on Sunday afternoons 1:30-3:00 pm. Discover the hidden natural areas in four of Madison's most beautiful parks and conservancies. Volunteer trip leaders and participants share their enthusiasm about nature and the birds, plants, and animals. Walks are on easy paths through scenic areas. Enjoy healthy nature recreation with a bit of nature education!

No registration is required. Please wear appropriate clothing, insect repellant, and footwear for the weather and hiking. Dogs are not allowed. Binoculars, cameras and children are welcome! For more information or to volunteer, contact Paul Noeldner (608) 698-0104.
