In this classic story based on the novel by Sheila Burnford, three adorable pets, a golden retriever, a cat, and a bulldog puppy, are left at a ranch while their owners take a short assignment in the city. Through a misunderstanding, the animals believe that they have been abandoned and try to find their way home over mountains and plains.
