Dragon boat festivals feature 40 foot-long boats - each filled with 20 people paddling in unison, a steersperson, and a drummer - racing along a watery course, while bringing friends, family and community together for a common cause. No experience needed and all equipment (including boats) and a coached practice session for each team are provided.
