Residential Parking Permits are now being sold for $21 for the 2009-2010 period (9/1/09-8/31/10). See our web site at http://www.cityofmadison.com/parking/residential.html for information about the program.

Permits can be purchased at the Madison Transportation Office, Madison Municipal Building, 215 Martin Luther King, Jr., Boulevard, Room 100, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. weekdays.

To qualify for a permit:

1. The applicant should bring in his/her motor vehicle registration, photo ID, and proof of residence. Only a lease signed by the renter and landlord/rental agent will be accepted as proof of residence for renters.

2. The vehicle for which the permit is being requested must be owned either by the applicant or by a child, parent, step-parent, grandparent, legal guardian, spouse or registered domestic partner. Vehicles registered to anyone else will not qualify for a permit.
