Thanks to Goodman's Jewelers the first 500 kids will receive FREE ADMISSION to the Irwin A. and Robert D. Goodman Pool beginning at noon on Thursday, June 13. Honoring Irwin and Robert Goodman, John and Catherine Hayes, owners of Goodman’s Jewelers continue this tradition of sponsoring the pool admission for the first 500 kids on opening day.

Madison’s first municipal pool opened in 2006. Irwin and Bob Goodman were long-time supporters of many organizations in Madison, including Madison Parks. Their donation of $2.8 million for the construction of the pool was just the incentive needed to get a pool built in Madison. Even after the pool’s opening, they continued supporting it by establishing a scholarship fund. Hundreds of children, regardless of their income level, continue to learn how to swim at Madison Parks Goodman Pool.

The Goodman Pool, located at 325 W. Olin Ave, offers recreation swim, lap swim, lessons, and the Waves Swim and Dive Team program. The pool is open daily, weather permitting through Monday, September 2.

Join us all summer long! Including FREE pool admission evenings at Dinner & A Swim events – Friday, July 5 and Friday, August 9.
