Less Salty: Salt Awareness Week
The City of Madison Engineering Division in partnership with Wisconsin Salt Wise, encourage the community to reduce salt use. Whether that be through hiring salt certified winter maintenance professionals, learning from Wisconsin Salt Wise or by using any of the salt reduction resources, any part that you can do to help reduce salt use in our community is important.
As part of Salt Awareness Week 2021, City Engineering shared a special week-long video series: Less Salty. Each episode focuses on a different part of winter maintenance and strategy.
