It’s time to move back.
On November 30, 2015 the Madison Fire Department will be moving back into Fire Station #1. The crews have been displaced since January of 2015 due to a reconstruction of the facility.

The MFD is on the move

As of today, Fire Station #1 at 316 W. Dayton Street is temporarily closed for remodeling. We have relocated the 12-person crews who work from that station to locations around the downtown area. We do not anticipate any interruption or delays in service based on the resource allocations.
