Project Overview

Installation of a roughly 200 kW solar photovoltaic system at the Streets West Maintenance Facility. The system will consist of roof mounted modules and will produce an estimated 260,000 kWh per year. When combined with the building’s existing array, 95% of the building’s electricity usage will be generated by the solar arrays. The array will be installed by the Engineering Division’s GreenPower program where trainees with little to no electrical skills are provide on-the-job training through solar installations on City buildings.
