What’s In. What’s Out. What’s ahead for the Madison Beltline.
 
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is nearing completion of a comprehensive Planning and Environment Linkages (PEL) study for the Madison Beltline from US 14 in Middleton to County N in Cottage Grove. The study has identified and evaluated a range of strategy packages that have the potential to address long-term transportation needs for the Beltline.
 
The strategy packages outline improvement recommended for more detailed study. They are being brought forward for public input and feedback at a series of public involvement meetings (PIMs) taking place in November 2015. Following the meetings, the selected strategy packages will be further evaluated within an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). Eight PIMs are being offered in six locations at a variety of times.  Each meeting will cover the same content. They will take place:
