Join the South Madison Community Night from 5:30-8:00pm, on Friday, March 21st, in an encore Bioneers screening, featuring Phaedra Ellis-Lamkins presented by our partners Sustain Dane and the UW Office of Sustainability. 
 
The Foundation for Black Women's Wellness will address the rising tide of action and ownership of sustainability as a core issue in communities of color and why this movement is central to solving the social, economic, environmental, and health challenges and disparities our communities face. Marcio Garcia, from The New Green Challenge/ El Desafío de Vivir Verde will take part in the panel led by Lisa Peyton-Caire.
 
Meet the City of Madison South Madison Neighborhood Resource Team!  The City would like to give residents from the Southside neighborhood an update on a few happenings in their area and offer them the opportunity to provide input as to how the city could assist in making their neighborhood even a better place to live.
 
Next door at Goodman South Madison Library:  The Peaceful Lake: Yoga with Clare Norelle. Through simple yoga poses, creative movement and song, Clare Norelle draws kids into world folktales that reflect traditional values such as kindness, nonviolence, truthfulness, conservation and simplicity.
