The Madison Parks Foundation, in partnership with Event Essentials presents the inaugural Picnic in the Park - an elegant evening celebrating the history and legacy of our Madison parks featuring the culinary talents of local greats Jonny Hunter and Tory Miller.

Celebrate 122 years of Madison’s crown jewels – our amazing parks as well as the inspirational individuals who helped create them; like visionaries John Olin, Daniel Tenney, William Vilas, Thomas Brittingham and Edward Owen. Their efforts, leadership and support have given us places like Tenney Park, Vilas Park, Brittingham Park and Owen Conservation Park — places that define our great city.

Step back in time and enjoy an elegant evening on the island at Tenney Park on Saturday, October 22 with fine food and drink, a historical program and a presentation announcing our exciting new plan to share the history of our amazing parks with those who enjoy them.

Space is limited to 300 people – register online today!
