For November's Night Light event, The Bubbler at Madison Public Library presents an Art Car Derby and Art Openings! Bubbler Artist-in-Residence Justin Bitner will host a community Art Car Derby on a fifty-foot long track he has been building, and shows will open throughout the library for artists Julie VonDerVellen, Chris Murphy, Kent Williams, Keith Nelson, and Max Puchalsky. Come check out the art, watch the derby, and enjoy drinks from Forequarter. Night Light is a monthly after-hours series at Central Library that rotates between music, theater, dance, storytelling, performance art, and other live happenings. Night Light will usually be on the first Friday of the month, but we will occasionally shift the night, so keep your eyes peeled. The Bubbler is also partnering with our friends at Forequarter to offer amazing drinks at Night Light events.
