Friend or Foe? with Kathlean Wolf ~ It’s hard being a nature lover!  You are constantly trying to figure out if that plant in a yard or park is a friendly native species that need to be nurtured or a ruthless invasive that will kill all your native plants if left to its own devices.  Master Naturalist Kathlean Wolf will take you for a walk and talk about some of the natives and non-natives at Warner Park and what Wild Warner, Parks staff, and others can do to help the good guys.

Enjoy an informal family and kid-friendly nature walk around the scenic Warner Pond lagoon and across Castle Creek to discover the wetlands, woods, and prairie in the Wild Side of Warner Park and the birds and other creatures that call it home! Walks at Warner Park held on the 3rd Sunday every month are co-sponsored by Madison Bird City FUN partners Wild Warner and Madison Audubon. Meet at the colorful Warner Park Shelter by the lagoon. Parking is available nearby. No registration required. No pets are allowed.
