Autumn Traces of Nature with Tom Murn ~ A walk with Master Naturalist Tom Murn is always family friendly, entertaining and enlightening!  Explore the hidden natural areas in neighborhoods along Starkweather Creek and discover how Autumn touches the trees and plants and paints them in fall colors.  Learn about birds and wildlife that make their homes in the heart of the East Side and adjust to survive over winter.

Outings in the Starkweather Creek area begin 10:00am at the Goodman Community Center, unless noted otherwise and are held the 3rd Saturday of every month, year-round. Outings include nature walks, canoe/kayak adventures, bicycling tours and more, and are sponsored by the Madison Friends of Urban Nature, Madison Parks, Goodman Community Center, Madison Audubon Society, and Friends of Starkweather Creek. No registration required. No pets are allowed.
