A Natural New Year! Join naturalist Paul Noeldner for a guided walk in at Cherokee Marsh North and start the new year off right! Celebrate the new year outdoors with other nature lovers, family and friends!  Experience the "quiet time" and explore evidence of animal life and ways in which the plants and animals prepare to live and protect themselves during the winter. Enjoy a campfire and hot chocolate after the walk.

Free, family-friendly walks at Cherokee Marsh North held on the 1st Sunday every month are co-sponsored by Madison FUN Friends of Urban Nature, Madison Parks, Friends of Cherokee Marsh and Madison Audubon Society.

Meeting Location: 6098 N. Sherman Avenue, follow North Sherman Ave. to the parking lot at the end of the gravel entrance road.
