Junction Ridge Park Grading

Last Updated: 08/16/2018

City Parks Division is currently undertaking a grading project at Junction Ridge Park.

For the past 10+ years Junction Ridge Park has been home to a soil stockpile.  This stockpile consisted of excess fill generated from other projects around the City and has been expanded over the years until it contained enough fill to create a new level playing field on site.  In 2018 the critical amount of soil was reached and the area is now being leveled.  The new leveled area will eventually be home to a new full size soccer field approximately the same size as the existing field on site.  Project will also include rough grading for the connection of the existing park path to Elderberry Rd as outlined in the adopted Master Plan.

Currently Parks construction crews are completing path and field final grading.  It is expected that seeding of the field will take place in late 2018 or early 2019 and the field will be ready for play in 2020.  The path will be rough graded in 2018 and paved in 2019.
