Last Updated: 05/15/2020
NOTICE: The public meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 19, is postponed per Public Health Madison & Dane County guidance. Updates on the reschedule date will be sent to neighborhood association representatives as further information from Public Health becomes available.
UPDATE: The Parks Division is developing an on-line presentation and survey to gather community input during the interim. Notices will be sent to Eastmorland Community Association and project correspondence list when the engagement materials are available.
Project location: Eastmorland Park or OB Sherry Park
The City of Madison is seeking public input on the location of a new off-leash dog exercise area on the city’s east side. Two locations are under consideration, with only one of the two sites potentially moving forward. It is also possible neither option will become an off-leash area depending on the outcome of the community engagement process.
- Option 1 OB Sherry Park
- Option 2 Eastmorland Park

- Standard dog park kiosk example
A public meeting will be held at the below time and location. City staff will present the proposed options and seek input from area residents, park users and dog owners.
