The Street Division would like to remind residents that if you need large item collection, you must schedule the curbside pickup in advance by using the new large item work order system.

You can access the work order system at www.cityofmadison.com/LargeItemWorkOrder.

About the Work Order System
The work order system for large items began in June 2021. This replaced the old every-other-week picking where crews roved the city looking for large items.

Residents should use the system to schedule curbside large item pickup and also purchase the fee stickers for items that require a fee being taken to a drop-off site.

In the time since the work order system began, over 3,500 work orders for large items have been received.

The Streets Division would like to express our thanks to all residents who have used the new system already and encourage everyone to continue using it for their large item collection needs.

Have Questions?
The Streets Division has a website dedicated to answering questions about the new large item work order system.

There are also two YouTube videos that show how to use the system, one that shows how to use it for curbside pickup, and another for using the system to purchase stickers for the drop-off sites.
