Community Conversations on Site Locations

The City of Madison is creating a Business Plan for the Madison Public Market (Market). The Market will be an indoor, year-round facility that builds on and supports the Madison area's abundant local food system and numerous innovative food businesses and organizations. The market is envisioned as the anchor of a dynamic food district with a mix of food aggregation, wholesale, and retail uses. It will become the epicenter of our region's food system.

The City of Madison and the Madison Local Food Committee will be hosting a series of four "Community Conversations" to gather ideas and input on what parts of the City could best accommodate the vision for a dynamic and successful Madison Public Market District. These meetings will be a community opportunity to share ideas for the public market in a lively and engaging format.

The next meeting will be held:

  • Thursday, May 29 (6pm-8pm) - St Pauls Lutheran Church, Fellowship Hall, 2126 N. Sherman Ave. 6PM to 8PM
