The Streets Division is happy to report that due to the hard work by our field staff and managers that we are caught up on refuse, recycling, and large item collections that were delayed due to the ice event earlier this week. All collections are back on schedule.

Areas of the Tuesday refuse and recycling collection district on the west side of Madison were not collected on the 17th as we had hoped.  Therefore, on the Wednesday the 18th, we diverted operations from other duties to be able to collect from these neighborhoods while also collecting from the Wednesday district as scheduled.

The Streets Division would also like to thank all of those who were affected by this delay for the patience and understanding they showed as we worked through this challenging weather.
