Starting at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2nd, Madison Gas & Electric will close East Main Street to thru traffic between South Livingston Street and South Paterson Street in order to install underground utilities.

The closure will last until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5th. 

The sidewalk on the south side of the street will remain open.

Parking will remain open on the 800 block, outside of the immediate construction area.
