District 3 Alder Resignation Effective February 6 - Seat to Remain Vacant Until April 2019 Election

We recently learned of Alderperson Amanda Hall’s resignation from the Madison Common Council on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.

Amanda has been our Common Council colleague the last four years and we have enjoyed working with her on a number of topics and issues. We wish the best for Amanda and her family.

Due to the length of time between February 6 and the spring election, the District 3 seat will remain vacant until a new alderperson is sworn in on April 16, 2019.

Starting on Wednesday, February 6, District 3 residents are asked to contact the Common Council office at (608) 266-4071 or council@cityofmadison.com for assistance with district and city issues until a new District 3 Alderperson is sworn in on April 16, 2019.

District 15 Alderperson David Ahrens has been designated to oversee the district during this time as well.

Alderperson Ahrens contact information is district15@cityofmadison.com or (608) 334-1156.
