On Tuesday, March 29, 2022 the drop-off site at 402 South Point Road will open.

When South Point opens, the location will accept trash, recycling, yard waste, brush, electronics, Styrofoam, and the other material that had been dropped off at the Badger Rd. location.

Purchase Fee Stickers Before Taking Items to South Point Drop-off Site
If you are dropping off an item at South Point Rd that requires a fee, the Streets Division recommends that you plan ahead and pay for the fee via the work order system at www.cityofmadison.com/LargeItemWorkOrder.

After the purchase is made via the work order system to drop off an item that requires a fee, a sticker will be mailed to your home.

Items that require a fee must have a fee sticker attached to the item before they will be accepted at the site.

While there will be field staff to maintain the drop-off site at 402 South Point Rd, there is no administrative staff at South Point to assist with other customer service needs.
