New Streets Division Drop-off Site Opening at 121 E. Olin Avenue on April 4, 2022

Site will only be open afternoons and weekends. Will not be open in the winter.

As previously announced, the drop-off site at 1501 W. Badger Rd will be closing on March 25, 2022. The site will be closed until at least the spring of 2023.

A temporary drop-off site with special hours will be available to help residents through the warmer months while Badger Rd is closed.

The temporary site is located at 121 East Olin Avenue. This site will open on April 4, 2022 at 3:00pm. Its final day of operation will be November 27, 2022.

Temporary Site Hours
The temporary drop-off site will be open the below hours:

Monday: 3:00pm to 7:00pm
Tuesday: 3:00pm to 7:00pm
Wednesday: 3:00pm to 7:00pm
Thursday: 3:00pm to 7:00pm
Friday: Closed
Saturday: 9:00am to 4:00pm
Sunday: 9:00am to 4:00pm

This drop-off site will also be closed during holidays.

Your Safety at the Temporary Drop-off Site
The temporary drop-off site is also the location of the brush processing and waste transfer facility.

For your safety, you must only use this drop-off site during its posted hours. Do not arrive early.

When using the drop-off site, you must stay within the designated drop-off site area as well.

Fee Stickers Not Available for Purchase at Olin Ave
You will not be able to purchase fee stickers in person at 121 E. Olin Avenue while the site opens for drop-off services.

Sticker sales will be available at the Streets Division offices located at 1501 W. Badger Rd. and 4602 Sycamore Ave during normal business hours for the office, which is Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday. Sticker sales will remain available at the Badger Rd office while the drop-off site is under construction.

You can also purchase stickers for dropping off items requiring a fee online at www.cityofmadison.com/LargeItemWorkOrder. Stickers will be mailed to you upon completion of purchase. Items requiring a fee will not be accepted unless the appropriate sticker is attached.
