Road repavement on Mineral Point Road from Ganser Way to the W. Beltline will began on Monday, October 1st , and is expected to last until October 19th. The project includes replacement of the two driving lanes, replacement of the median curb and gutter and repair of pavement joints. The bus lanes will not be replaced with this project, but are scheduled to be replaced in 2008.

The intersection of South High Point Road with Mineral Point Road will be closed for six days beginning Monday, October 1st. Traffic on South High Point Road will not be able to cross Mineral Point Road. Only right turns, from South High Point Road onto Mineral Point Road will be possible, and only right turns from Mineral Point Road onto South High Point Road will be possible.

Two lanes of traffic eastbound on Mineral Point Road, will be maintained during peak hours -- between 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM, and between 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. During non-peak hours, travel may be reduced to one lane in each direction.

Westbound traffic on Mineral Point Road will be reduced to one lane for six days beginning October 1st, including during peak traffic hours. After October 6th, two lanes of traffic westbound on Mineral Point Road, will be maintained during peak hours -- between 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM, and between 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. During non-peak hours, travel may be reduced to one lane in each direction.

Right turns in and out of all driveways and side streets will be maintained. Vehicles will not be able to make left turns through the medians.

Motorists should expect delays.
